1. Scooter & Moped Repair
We service both Dutch license plate categories: Blue license plates (Snorscooter, max 25 km/h) and Yellow license plates (Bromfiets, max 45 km/h). Please note: for classic 2-stroke mopeds (e.g. Tomos, Puch), we only handle tires and exhaust replacement, not full mechanical repair. For 4-stroke mopeds (e.g. Hanway, Mash, Killerbee), we offer full service.
We focus on petrol (gasoline) scooters. For electric scooters, we only handle small jobs like brakes and tires, not full repairs.

- Tire Replacements: We stock and fit high-quality tires for all rim sizes (10-inch, 12-inch, up to 16-inch wheels). (Note: We only fit new inner/outer tires—we do not patch inner tubes for safety reasons).
- Brake Servicing: Spongy feel or no pressure in your front brake? We fix all brake issues, from replacing worn brake pads to professionally bleeding hydraulic brake lines.
- Exhaust & Heat Shields: Is your exhaust making excessive noise or rattling? We inspect, repair, or replace damaged exhausts and heat shields.

We inspect the essential safety points—including brakes, tire wear, frame condition, electrical system, and engine health—so you know exactly what you’re riding before or right after you buy it.
Roland’s Pro-Tip: Always Tank E5 (Euro 98) Fuel!
A vast majority of starting problems and engine misfires are caused by standard E10 (Euro 95) fuel. E10 attracts moisture and degrades rapidly, causing gumming inside your fuel system, carburetor, or injector. Save yourself an expensive repair: always tank premium E5 (Euro 98) fuel. Your scooter will start much easier, run smoother, and keep the engine clean inside.
2. Fat Bike Repair
Fat bikes require specific mechanical care. We service the mechanical parts of your fat bike to ensure you ride safely.
Brands we service: Ouxi, La Souris, Phatfour, Knaap, and others.
Services: Flat tire repair (inner tube replacement), brake bleeding/replacement, and chain maintenance. Please note: we’re unable to test or diagnose fat bike batteries, since each brand requires its own specialized (expensive) testing equipment — we can only replace a battery, not repair or test one.

My scooter was in an accident or damaged by theft. Can you help?
Yes. We have extensive experience with accident and theft damage. We can inspect the damage, provide an official insurance report, and perform the necessary repairs to ensure your scooter is safe to ride again.
Can you make my scooter go faster?
No. We focus on safe, legal repairs. We do not perform illegal speed tuning. We’re happy to help with general jobs like tires on a tuned scooter, but we don’t work on the engine of a scooter that has been tuned. Tuning often causes engine damage and we don’t take on those repairs. We do not perform illegal speed tuning. Warning: If your scooter is caught exceeding the speed limit, you risk a heavy fine, a mandatory vehicle inspection (WOK-status), and you can lose your driver’s license entirely, including your car driver’s license. We help you stay safe and legal.
How do I pay?
We accept cash or Tikkie/mobile payment. Most international students and expats find this very convenient.
Do you also repair second-hand or Marktplaats scooters and fat bikes?
Yes! Every brand is welcome, including vehicles bought second-hand or via Marktplaats.
Is there a call-out fee if you come to me?
Yes, a small call-out fee applies: €10 for Lansingerland, €20 for Rotterdam, Zoetermeer, and Delft. For other places like The Hague or Westland, please ask via WhatsApp.
Are you available in the evening or on weekends?
Yes! We’re reachable via WhatsApp every day, including weekends, until 22:00.
Where can I drop off or pick up my scooter?
You can safely drop off and pick up your vehicle by appointment at the front desk of Drukkerij Van der Louw during office hours, right next to our workshop.
